This rugged weatherproof surveillance system is constructed to withstand the rough outdoors. The system is centered on a digital video recorder (DVR) specifically designed for low-power consumption 12 volt systems. This unit is designed to be quick to deploy and get consistent results. The DVR unit is capable of recording up to 30 frames per second or 1 frame per second, or motion recording from 5 seconds to 30 seconds after motion alarm. Recording is instantaneous for motion alarms. The DVR system can be located up to 60 feet from the camera. With the standard battery configuration (200 amp/hours using two batteries), this system will run for 5-7 days continuously with a single camera, recording at real time. To view recordings, the unit is simply plugged in at the office and viewing can begin. Since it is a digital picture navigation is a snap. Multiple playback speeds can also be selected to make video reconciliation easier. Once the video footage has been viewed it can be archived to DVD, CD, or VHS. If necessary, the DVR can be removed from the camera case and used independently with a provided AC converter to monitor office, scale houses, and manufacturing facilities, with up to 4 cameras.
